The best campsite is not always the obvious one or “most popular” one. Here is a 5-step process to finding you perfect campsite.
Step 1: Research online the area of interest you want to visit. Look for all the local attractions and national parks or public land near there. You will be surprised by how many affordable options you have when camping public lands.
Step 2: Use google maps to identify official points of interest regionally that will make a good campsite.
Step 3: Confirm your findings by calling around the area to ask about these points of interest. Then if you have a drone, send in to do a further inspection of the land you are interested in camping.
Step 4: Book your trip with whoever you need to, if at all. Mostly this is the verification process that the area you selected is legally able to camp. Sometimes the perfect spot might not be an option.
Step 5: Pack up the gear, family and go… or you can always skip these steps and contact Shoreline Inclusive Camping to plan your next outdoor adventure for you.
